Justice AP Shah to speak on nobility of medical profession

Justice A P Shah Retd. Chief Justice Delhi High Court will deliver a keynote address on “Nobility of Medical Profession” on the occasion of Doctors Day on Sunday, July 1 at India International Center. The function has been jointly organized by eMedinewS and Heart Care Foundation of India

There will also be a special panel discussion on ‘Restoring the Image of Medical Profession’ moderated by Padma Shri and Dr B C Roy National Awardee Dr KK Aggarwal and Mr. Vijay Dutt Former Editor HT.

The panelists will include Dr D S Rana Chairman Ganga Ram Hospital, Padma Shri Awardee Dr Ashok Vaid Chairman Oncology Medanta - The Medicity, Sameer Sinha Industrialist, Nripendra Mishra Former Textile and Telecom Secretary, Rajiv Dogra Former Ambassador and Secretary External Affairs, Priya Hingorani Sr Advocate,  Prakash Singh Former DG BSF, Dr. Sanjiv Malik Past National President IMA, Dr A K Aggarwal President Delhi Medical Council, Dr D R Rai Secretary General IMA, Dr Harish Gupta President DMA and Dr Neelam Mohan Director Pediatric Gastroenterology and Hepatology Medanta - The Medicity.

Giving details, Dr K K Aggarwal, President Heart Care Foundation of India said that following the episode on Healthcare on Aamir Khan’s Satyamev Jayate, it has become important to talk on the subject on Doctor’s Day by involving people from all segments of the society.
