Why do we consider the lotus as special?Krishna in Bhagavad Gita compares Lotus to the act of detached attachment. He said Brahmanyaadhaaya karmaani
Sangam tyaktvaa karoti yaha
Lipyate na sa paapena
Padma patram ivaambhasaa
