What is a standard drink?
For different countries, a standard drink is generally considered as follows
1.       United States: 14 to 15 g alcohol (0.5 to 0.6 fl oz), equivalent to 12 oz (360 ml) beer, 5 oz wine (150 ml), and 1.5 oz (45 ml) of 80 proof liquor.
  1. Great Britain: 8 g alcohol or app 24 ml 80 proof liquor. 
  2. Japan: 19.75 g alcohol ( app. 60 ml 80 proof liquor. )
  3. India 10 grams or app. 30 ml of 80 proof liquor
  4. Patiala peg India: 20 grams of alcohol or app. 60 ml 80 proof liquor. .
(Formula 1 ml = 0.8 grams of alcohol)
