CMAAO concerned about coronavirus cases with no clear link to COVID 19 patients

CMAAO concerned about coronavirus cases with no clear link to COVID 19 patients

Dr KK Aggarwal
President CMAAO, HCFI and Past National President IMA

CMAAO is concerned about the number of coronavirus cases with no clear epidemiological link, which means, cases with no clear link include those with no travel history to China or contact with a confirmed case.

Outside China, there have been 26 deaths and 2055 cases. Total 33 countries have faced the corona virus. 624 cases are in Korea alone.

The concern is potential for COVID-19 to spread in countries with weaker health systems.
WHO has identified 13 countries in Africa that are seen as a priority because of their links to China.
