Administrative Tribunal, Delhi was listed for hearing on 13.11.2017. Ms.
Aanchal Dhingra, Advocate appeared on behalf of IMA Hq and had
filed the reply on behalf of IMA. The matter is listed
for final hearing.

The matter titled as "IMA
versus Arth Business Centre CS(Comm.) No. 122/2017” has been
filed by IMA Hq. against Arth Business Centre for recovery of arrears of
rent and damages was filed and was listed for hearing before Hon'ble High
Court of Delhi on 12.07.2017 Mr. Rahul Gupta, Mr. Shekhar Gupta and Ms. Ira
Gupta, Advocates have appeared on behalf of IMA. Notice to the defendant namely
Arth Business Centre has been issued by the Hon'ble High Court of
Delhi but Arth Business is deliberately avoiding the service of
summons. On 06.09.2017 and 28.11.2017, Mr. Shekhar Gupta and Ms. Ira Gupta,
advocates had appeared and had requested the court to
serve the defendant by way of email also. The service has been
done through email and other modes.

Islam & Others versus IMA Assam Branch & Others, SLP No. 32592 -
32593/2015" pending before Hon'ble Supreme Court was listed for
hearing on 11.09.2017. An impleadment application on behalf of IMA Hq.
has been filed in the said case. Mr. Rahul Gupta and Mr. Shekhar Gupta,
advocate had appeared on behalf of IMA. The said case is listed for
final hearing on the issue relating to crosspathy.

India Indian Medicine Graduates Association versus Delhi Medical Association
& Others, SLP (Civil) No. 20144-20145/2016” and "National
Integrated Medical Association versus Delhi Medical Association & Others,
SLP (C) No. 14297/2016" were listed for hearing. Mr. Rahul
Gupta, Advocate had appeared on behalf of Delhi Medical Association and had
accepted notice of the said cases.

The violence against doctors matter
titled as "Court on its Own Motion versus UOI &Other, WP(C)
3903/2017” was listed before the Delhi High Court on
20.11.2017. In the said case, the Hon'ble Chief Justice
of Delhi High Court has suo moto made the Indian Medical Association as
a party. Mr. Rahul Gupta Advocated had appeared on behalf of IMA. An
affidavit has been filed on behalf of IMA. The Hon'ble Court has
adjourned the matter after giving some time to Mr. Sanjay Jain and
Mr. Siddharth Aggarwal, Senior Advocates to understand the reasons behind
violence against doctors and also to find solutions for stopping
the same.

The matter titled as "State
of Andhra Pradesh versus Ganjikuntla Sridhar & Others, SLP(Civil)
10347-10359/2017" was listed for hearing on 27.07.2017 in
which the Hon'ble Supreme Court has suo moto appointed IMA as
amicus curiae. The Hon’ble Supreme Court has asked for IMA’s view
on the issue of the case.

The matters titled as "Indian
Radiological and Imaging Association versus UOI & Anr., SLP (C)
11046/2016" and "Union of India versus
Indian Radiological & Imaging Association & Others, SLP (C) No.
16657/2016" were listed for hearing on 05.10.2017. An
impleadment application on behalf of IMA Hq. has to be filed in the said
case. Mr. Rahul Gupta, Mr. Gagan Gupta, Mr Shekhar Gupta and Ms. Ira Gupta,
Advocates appeared on behalf of IMA Hq. The UOI has filed an
application for the stay of high court judgment. However, on
07.11.2016 the Hon'ble Supreme Court has not passed any orders of
stay and the UOI has been directed to file an application for
transfer of similar cases pending before various High Courts
in the country. The matter is relating to the
issue of PCPNDT. The next date of hearing is 13.12.2017.

Others W.P.(Civil) 895/2016 was listed for hearing on
11.11.2016. Mr. Gopal Subhramanian, Senior Advocate, Mr. Rahul Gupta, Mr.
Shekhar Gupta, Mr. Gagan Gupta and Ms. Ira Gupta, Advocates appeared on
behalf of IMA. Thereafter, the matter was listed for completion of
pleadings on which date Mr. Gagan Gupta, Advocate appeared on behalf of
IMA.

versus Dr. Meenakshi Gautam, Cont. App. 17/2015” pending before Delhi High
Court was listed for hearing on 21.09.2017. Ms. Ira Gupta, Advocate
appeared in the said case on behalf of
IMA. In the said case, an impleadment application has been
filed on behalf of IMA and notice has been issued on the said
impleadment application by the Hon'ble Court. On
21.09.2017 the matter was simply adjourned as the MCI has
filed an application for clarification of order passed
in the Writ Petition.

The Surrogacy Writ Petition
titled as "Jayashree Wad versus UOI & Others W.P.(Civil)
95/2015” pending before the Hon'ble Supreme Court was
listed for hearing on 07.03.2017. Mr. Rahul Gupta, Advocate appeared
in the said case on behalf of IMA. In the said case, an
impleadment application has been filed on behalf of
IMA. The Hon'ble Supreme Court of India has held that
all the matters relating to surrogacy will be heard
once the Assisted Reproductive Technology (Regulation) Bill, 2014
is enacted as an act of Parliament with or without modification, as may be.
The mater has been admitted on 11.07.2017.
