It takes about one hour for a healthy person’s liver to get rid of half a pint of beer, lager or cider, one glass of wine or one pub measure of spirits.
12 hours: 6 pints
10 hours: 5 pints
8 hours: 4 pints
6 hours: 3 pints
4 hours: 2 pints
2 hours: 1 pint
So, if you finish drinking your sixth pint at 11 pm, you won’t be totally sober until 11 am the next day.
