Emedinews: Dr. KK’s tip for deciding the prognosis in a case of shock


Just feel the hands and if they are warm, it means it is a shock with vasodilatation. The differential diagnosis is sepsis or anaphylaxis. If the hands are cold, it means vasoconstriction. Differential diagnosis is hypovolemia,  pulmonary embolism or acute heart attack.
