#DrKKAnswers: Most studies have shown that 4 to 10% of patients with heart attack are young patients. The incidence of heart attack is 8-9 times greater in men than women aged 55-64 years. In men the incidence of heart disease in less than 40 years of age is 5.6% and in women it is 11.41%.
