Dr. KK Aggarwal Elected National Vice-President Indian Medical Association For The Year 2013-14


Dr. KK Aggarwal, President, Heart Care Foundation of India unanimously elected as National Vice President Elect of Indian Medical Association for the year 2013-14. Dr. Aggarwal is also the recipient of Padamshri and Dr. B.C. Roy National Award.

He has also served the National Indian Medical Association in the past as Finance Secretary and the Head of Research and Academic Wings. He has also been Past Vice President and President of the Delhi Medical Association and IMA New Delhi Branch and presently Chairman of the Ethical Committee of Delhi Medical Council.

He is also known for his work in the field of public health awareness. On three of the events organized by him, Union and State Governments had released national commemorative postal stamps.

Others who have been elected from Delhi were – Dr. D.R. Rai (Also National Vice President), Dr. Narender Saini, Secretary General, Dr. Ajay Gambhir, Finance Secretary.  Others elected from Delhi for various posts – Dr. Atul Arora, Dr. Nomeeta Gupta, Dr. R.K. Nathani, Dr. H.R. Saluja, Dr. K.N. Singla, Dr. Ramesh Bansal and Dr. Sanjay Sood.
