Emedinews: Dr K K Answers- Which patients of obesity have high triglyceride levels?

In patients with similar BMI and visceral fat volume but with higher liver and subcutaneous abdominal fat the levels of triglycerides and VLDL are higher. Increased plasma levels of apolipoprotein C-III  is also associated with impaired triglyceride clearance.
