a.    Solutions containing drugs can become contaminated with endotoxin or other exogenous pyrogens.
b.    Fever can also accompany a chemical phlebitis
c.    Fever can follow after injections with paraldehyde, pentazocine, and other drugs.
d.     Many routine vaccinations are associated with low-grade fever for 48 hours or less.
e.     Amphotericin B and bleomycin have pyrogenic properties.
