IJMD: Peripheral Ameloblastoma: Review of Literature and Case Presentation

Abstract

Peripheral ameloblastoma (PA) is a rare soft tissue neoplasm of odontogenic origin that arises in the tooth-bearing gingiva of the maxilla and mandible. This article describes a case of PA located in the lingual gingiva of the mandible in a 48-year-old male with a review of the English literature.
