2402 Girls Trained in Hands-only CPR 10



In a special function Heart Care Foundation of India trained 2402 girls of Dr Sampurnanand Sarvodaya Kanya Vidyalaya No.1 C Block Yamuna Vihar, East Delhi in Hands-only CPR-10.

Coordinating the training, Padma Shri & Dr. BC Roy National Awardee, Dr. KK Aggarwal, President Heart Care Foundation of India said that ever since practical training in CPR began, many lives have already been saved.

Dr. Aggarwal said that the CPR Mantra is - “Within 10 minutes of cardiac arrest, earlier the better, at least for the next 10 minutes, compress the centre of the chest of the dead person with a speed of 10x10=100 per minute”.

Coordinating the function Mrs Rajeshwari Kapri, Principal of the school said that government school girls have set an example to the society by learning the CPR 10, a life saving technique.

This is for the first time that girls in such large numbers have been trained in a single session.
