Dr KK Answers: What does snake means in mythology?



Snake in Hindu Mythology means controlling the ego and taming the duality of mind. Krishna in childhood is shown in taming the Kalia snake and not killing it. The mouth of snake always (Shiva’s neck, birth of Krishna with snake protecting it from rain, and Vishnu sleeping with snake providing shelter) inwards depicting one should control the ego.
