Former Rajasthan CM Vasundhara Raje puts self, son under quarantine; came in contact with singer Kanika Kapoor, who has tested positive for Covid-19.

There were reports that the singer landed in Lucknow from the United Kingdom and was admitted in a city hospital after she showed signs of flu in the last four days.

"While in Lucknow, I attended a dinner with my son Dushyant & his in-laws. Kanika, who has tested positive for Covid19 was also a guest. As a matter of abundant caution, my son & I have immediately self-quarantined and we’re taking all necessary precautions," Vasundhara Raje tweeted. The dinner was held on 15^th

Dushyant also went to Parliament after the dinner. “I was sitting next to Dushyant the other day for 2.5 hours. There are two more MPs who are in self isolation: said TMC MP Derek O'Brien in a tweet.

On 18^th Dushyant also attended a function at the President house and was a part of group photograph.

These are unpardonable mistakes

1.       Everyone coming from international travel must declare when going to a public function’

2.       Everyone should declare if he or she has attended a function where a person has joined visiting from International flight.

3.       President, Vice President and PM should not attend public functions these days.  It gives wrong message that if a country cannot protect its highest dignitaries how will it protect the general public.

4.       It shows there is no protocol at President house and parliament of giving an undertaking that I have not met anyone in last 14 days who have visited a covid affected country.
