Classification of COVID 19, 13th Feb 20202
To Sh Narendra Modi Ji
Hon’ble Prime Minister of India
Dear Sir
Subject: Correct pictures of mortality only if we
report clinical cases
The mortality of dengue is much lower than what is projected
in the media because media reports only lab confirmed cases. This does not
include the larger segment of clinically diagnosed cases.
Now even China has started including the clinically diagnosed
cases in COVID 19 as it’s a waste of resources if you test all clinical mild cases.
The same should be the policy for dengue, if we do
that then only correct mortality will be reflected.
Today if you see the headlines it comes: 230 cases of
dengue, 2 died. It creates fear, the correct mortality is 1 per 1000.
